Día de Muertos

I grew up in Mexico surrounded by legends, superstition and stories in which the seen and the unseen naturally coexist. Folklore and traditions shaped my imagination and the way I experience the world.

During Día de Muertos, our rituals make the boundary between life and death feel almost transparent.

These works are about longing to remain connected to those we love and our enduring curiosity about the mysteries that lie just beyond what we can see.
