Sometimes I feel as though I’m an ant standing on someone’s hand—so small that I can’t even see I’m being held. There is something about the mountains that makes time slow down. Their presence is ancient, quiet and patient.
Some people feel most at home by the sea. I feel most at home in the embrace of the mountain.
