The act of skiing fills me with awe. The immensity of the mountain and the beauty of the world around me. There is something both powerful and humbling about guiding my descent with nothing but the movement of my body.
Yet skiing is also strangely solitary. Behind a helmet and goggles the outside world grows quiet. The rush of speed turns into contemplation.
The Little Skier carries the feeling of the mountain as an entire world of its own, vast and dreamlike, where wonder, freedom and solitude coexist.
