Her love of animals, nature and the nuances of human life are her inspiration and have always been the strongest thematic underpinnings of everything she ever wishes to express. Over the past couple of years her focus has been on portraiture and exploring the intricacies of her north-eastern Mexican cultural background and life in Colorado. Mystery often lies just beneath the surface of ordinary moments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Living in Colorado has filled my life with a new sense of wonder. The mountains and wild places have become as much part of my artistic language as the folklore and traditions I grew up with in Mexico.
